What is Asbestos Scaring?
The Lung Lining (Membrane) shows up on an X-ray as white lines in people over sixty, it is first thought to be scaring, it stops the lung moving and courses discomfort such as back pain as scares take up space in the rib cage, also classic symptoms are clubbing of them Nails both Finger and toe.

What is Plural Plaques?
Plural Plaques, is what attaches itself to the outer wall of the lung, it can be as small as a pin head an shows up on an X-ray as white dots, symptoms, shortness of breath due to wart like growths, depressing the area of the lung where it is attached

What is Bilateral Diffuse Plural Thickening?
Bilateral Diffuse Plural Thickening, is a thickening up of the protective membrane surrounding the lung, this shows up on x-ray as a white mass on the bottom of the rib cage, symptoms, shortness of breath, irritability, the reason for this Psychosomatic, the person affected usually male finds it depresses the lung stopping inflation and therefore cutting down the Oxygen intake.

What is Mesothelioma?
Mesothelioma is a Tumour Cancer celled caused only by exposure to Asbestos, the latency period can be anything from Twenty to Sixty years from exposure, nine times out of ten the tumour is located in the Plura but it is never in the lung.

Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer and very little is resourced into it, around six thousand people a year die from it.

Mesothelioma is usually diagnosed after x-rays pick up a grey area on the Plura and the patient is then sent for a CT Scan, if fluid is found and drained, a Needle Biopsy is taken, to remove tissue for testing.
